NAUGHTY OR NICE VENDING MACHINES
PROJECT
I conceptualised a retail experience that could actually determine how shoppers had behaved during the Christmas season. Situated in the QVB shopping centre, neat delivered two fully branded Swarovski ‘Naughty or Nice’ vending machines, displaying a series of randomly generated Christmas themed questions with multiple choice answers. Based on how shoppers responded, they were deemed either naughty or nice, with the nice-o-meter moving in the appropriate direction and displaying a relevant on-screen message. Shoppers were then prompted to enter their contact details before the vending machine dispensed a branded gift card that contained a ‘Naughty Gift’ or a ‘Nice Surprise’. All participants then received a peronsalised follow-up email containing direct web links to the Swarovski ‘Naughty or Nice’ product range and could redeem their Swarovski branded gift cards in the QVB store.
