PROJECT
To create a unique, innovative and interactive fan park experience that combined the worlds of digital and tangible, to drive brand awareness around the Official Partnership with the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and to capture and build a new database for acquisition of future Griffith University Students.
To create a unique, innovative and interactive fan park experience that combined the worlds of digital and tangible, to drive brand awareness around the Official Partnership with the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and to capture and build a new database for acquisition of future Griffith University Students.
This project was designed and developed with a number of interactive, digital, Commonwealth Games themed experiences to excite and engage fans. Each interactive element allowed fans to immediately share user-generated images and videos to their social media channels via a personalised eDM. These experiences included: Digital Face Painting Kiosks, that digitally painted fans faces, live on-screen, with a Green & Gold OR Australian Flag design. Winners Podium, which allowed fans to celebrate like a real athlete as they collected their winning medals in a blue screen studio, and then watched as their celebration was cut into a video clip. Interactive Marathon Stations which gave fans the chance to ‘race for a place’ in the last 100m of the official Commonwealth Games Marathon circuit, on cutting edge, interactive treadmills. To house all of the different experiences, a large red inflatable dome was supplied, with Griffith University and ‘Be Remarkable’ branding.
